Baked Brown Rice

Consomme Rice Casserole - I find the Parmesan unnecessary and melt 3/4 stick of butter in an 8x8 dish before adding the other ingredients. Converted rice is long grain white rice (not instant). You can add the mushrooms at the beginning but they get dark so you could wait until the last 10-15 minutes to add. I bake mine for 45 minutes at 350 - Perfect every time

FRENCH TOAST BAKE -- The ideal breakfast for Christmas morning! Easy too! Prepare the night before and pop in the oven Christmas morning. SO DELISH! Your family will sing Hallelujah

French toast bake 1/2 c. melted butter, 1c. Brown Sugar, 1 loaf thick sliced bread, 4 eggs, 1 1/2 c. Milk, 1 t. Vanilla, cinnamon powdered sugar. Melt butter and sugar in bottom of pan, layer bread, mix eggs, milk,vanilla, pour half over bread, sprinkle w/cinnamon, 2nd layer bread, egg mix and cinnamon. Cover and chill overnight. Bake at 350° 45 min, first 30 min covered. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
