Fact 236: Having blue eyes is actually a mutation. Before the mutation occurred, all humans had brown eyes. (WOOT! I'M A MUTANT!!!) Neat stuff!

Human Eye facts: The eye color is determined by melanin in the Iris, we have 3 cones that allow us to see primary colors red, blue, green. If we had 4 we would be considered tetrachromatic and could probably see ultraviolet. There are some people who do have tetrachromacy.

This happened to me, my eyes were blue until I was one then they changed to green with hints of brown in the middle
