This is an old pine bedside table that I've had for about 15 years. I mixed the paint colour myself to create the blue grey colour. Then I used left over wallpaper and used it on the drawer fronts and top. I stuck it down with craft (pva) glue and painted decoupatch gloss glue on top. I loved doing this project.
Nightstand too low? Make a platform and paint or stain it the same color as your nightstand to raise it up to the appropriate level. Helps to either extend the life of your existing tables or helps make imperfect thrift pieces fit their new homes.
he Blue and the Beautiful If pink isn't your thing, embrace your blue period by painting a piece of furniture a sweet pastel in the cool color. Bonus points if you can find an antique piece that doesn't need to be painted and distressed by hand. This light-blue side table invites people to relax and enjoy a book in this guest room's sitting area.
