Filet Mignon cooked (direct) on Big Green Egg @ 600 F for 7 minutes, rested for 8 minutes. This steak was approximately 1 1/2" thick. It was seasoned with salt, pepper, granulated garlic and Dizzy Pig Cow Lick rub. It was - by far - the absolute BEST steak I have ever cooked OR tasted. Normally, I go for medium-rare to medium, but this turned out rare and absolutely fantastic! My wife wanted her's a little more done, so I cooked her's an additional 4-5 minutes for a medium.
