❤Lentil Soup❤ - this is the best lentil soup I've had in a long time. Add 2 more carrots, 1 full box of defrosted spinach, double all the spices. Add 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes. Use a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes, add the 14.5 oz the recipe calls for, then use the rest mixed with 4 cups broth + 2 cups water (to make the 8 cups "water"). Lentils: use 1 cup brown + 1 cup red. 3 T. of lemon juice INSTEAD of vinegar, & a glug (1/4 cup) red wine. Trust me, ppl can't stop eating this soup! Delish…
