You may also have noticed that there are no cracks in the top. That is because this cheesecake is baked in a bain-marie, a water bath. This is one of the secrets to a truly creamy cheesecake.
Tall and Creamy Cheesecake- this is by far the best cheesecake ever. I made it and it tasted just like the one i get in the bakery. Creamy, dense and lush. The only change i made was to use a combo of sour cream and heavy cream,That's it. Excellent recipe..Thanks Dorie!!
