Pretty much how I make Beans and Cornbread. Haven't used the Pinto Bean Seasoning though. Might just look for it.. We eat Pinto Beans and Cornbread with Roy's Grandma's Zucchini Relish.. YUMMMO

Pinto beans were inexpensive and easy (for Mom at least) to my husband cooks them for us because mine just never seem to turn out the way I want them to taste. Mom would either cook hers with a ham hock or the thick slab of bacon you had to slice yourself. We usually had it with cornbread and fried potatoes or just the cornbread.

Soup Beans and Skillet Cornbread. My granny was a hillbilly in the southwestern tip of Virginia. She was raised on soup beans and corn bread. Looking for that taste!
