Grilled Bacon Wrapped Pecan Figs

Grilled Bacon Wrapped Pecan Figs (when I make these I'll use fresh figs, and goat cheese with candied pecans for the filling)

Bacon-Wrapped Bourbon Figs

Bacon-Wrapped Bourbon Figs: 12 dried Calimyrna figs. 1/4 cup bourbon. 1 (2- to 4-oz.) wedge Gorgonzola cheese, cut into 24 pieces. 24 pecan halves, toasted. 12 fully-cooked bacon slices, cut in half crosswise. Wooden picks.

Bacon Wrapped Fig Appetizers

An easy and impressive appetizer recipe - Fresh Figs steamed in bourbon, wrapped in bacon with gorgonzola and pecans. So good!

Goat Cheese-Stuffed Figs Wrapped in Bacon

This is another of the recipes that disappeared so quickly that I didnt get to take a photo of them....they are that good!! They have a little bit of sweet from the fig, some tang from the cheese, and salt from the bacon. A great balance of flavors! The aged goat cheese called for in this recipe is firmer than fresh and has a dry rind. Two of the kinds that work best in this dish are Bucheron and Pouligny-St. Pierre, both have just the right amount of tang.
