Ugh, yes. It was probably the second word I ever spoke ("no" was my first, haha). As an adult, I get tripped up when ppl ask me questions because my initial response is, "why do you ask?" rather than an answer. I don't always understand the connections NTs make that prompt them to ask me "X". I don't like and sometimes can't answer a question unless I know WHY I'm being asked that question. I don't why I do that, so of course I've always been curious to know!
