"(m)easure...volume using uniform objects in the environment. For example, how many small containers it takes to fill a big container using sand, rice, or beans." Here the children used an Asian soup spoon to see how many spoonfuls are needed to fill the measuring cups. I used the geese measuring cups to represent Spring ~ yea! One was a half cup and the other was a full cup.

trying soon! Update: Made them today and definitely a keeper, very flavorful! I rounded the measuring spoon for spices, except salt. I made 15 (one pkg of wrappers), using a packed 1/3 cup for each. Ended up with just a little leftover, enough for one more, but out of wrappers. The are good at room temp. too, and I am freezing some to see if they microwave/heat up in oven comparison.

Sauce: In a 1-cup class Pyrex measuring cup, mix date syrup (honey fine for non whole-30ers), sesame oil and Aminos. Add 2 heaping teaspoons arrowroot powder (thickening agent) and 1/4 cup water. Directions: Heat wok over medium high heat and add spoonful of fat, like coconut oil. Add carrots. Stir. Cook 2 minutes. (Add splashes of water, as necessary, to create a quick steam and release anything that might be sticking to the bottom of the wok.)
