My ancestors, before coming out of Pennsylvania and Virginia, was of the Coastal Plain and then the Piedmont before heading south and deep into Cherokee territory into Western North Carolina and the mountains. Currently situated about 2 miles from the North Carolina line in Rabun County, Georgia.

Hemmed-In Hollow Waterfall, at 250 feet, the tallest waterfall between the Rocky & Appalachian mountains. - This is not a hike we recommend for young children or folks who tire quickly. While the trail is downhill all the way, it's a steady and sometimes steep 2.5-mile climb out, so take plenty of water with you and something to snack on.
