Another powerful novel for all lovers of post-apocalyptic lit. Two teen sisters are left alone after their parents' deaths at their cabin in the woods of northern California to fend for themselves while they wait for someone to come rescue them in a world gone wild. As time goes on and they realize no help is coming, they must learn to adapt, and live in tune with nature. A really good book! Put it on your to-read list.

Day 21 by Kass Morgan. second in YA series. 3 stars. as long as my fave character is living, i'm still reading. clarke was less annoying, as was bellamy (still don't like him). some surprises & also glass continues to be a drag on the overall story. books read in 2014, YA, novels, scifi books, post-apocalyptic, series, netgalley, ebook, kindle
