I saw this tall slimline refrigerator on the show Income Property. Fits in tiny kitchens like mine, and uses that wasted space above the fridge thats normally a dust collector or an unreachable mini-cabinet.
Sometimes the best solution for a small space is to go big. That was definitely the case when we moved from an open, loft-like condo to a small, floor-through cottage. Suddenly, even our "apartment size" sofa and compact chairs looked cramped. After enough house guests bruised their knees on the edges of the coffee table, we decided it was time to rethink the layout.
The question I get asked the most often refers to proper art height. The center of your piece should hang about eye level, which is between 56-60". If you have multiple frames at multiple sizes, cluster them together and determine the middle. That spot should be hung at 56". Always leave 4-8" above a sofa and, like the table chandelier, keep the piece 2/3 the width of the furniture.
