At the Paralympic Games, Alpine Skiiers can compete in five different events: Downhill, Super-G, Super Combined, Slalom and Giant Slalom.    Competition is for those with a physical disability such as a spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, amputation, les autres conditions and visual impairment. Athletes compete in three categories based on their functional ability, and a results calculation system allows athletes with different impairments to compete against one another.
