Agriculture has been around for centuries - it is ingrained in our human roots. As a result of that, we are beginning to see environmental issues increase, including climate change. Meat production especially releases green house gases in to the atmosphere and clear the trees that manage the gases for more space, pushing up the natural temperature of the earth.
Holly, Michigan. Holly’s rich history goes back to the arrival of the first settlers in 1831. Beginning as a lumbering depot founded by Ira C. Alger, Holly has been home to many industries, including being one of the earliest railroad junctions in the State of Michigan, home to numerous manufacturing sectors (including the automobile industry), and agricultural lands.
Ollantaytambo, Peru The Incas built it as a fort that included a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban area. There are two distinct sectors: Araqama Ayllu, the religious and worship zone, and Qosqo Ayllu, the residential area. Ollantaytambo was an important administrative center with probable military functions if one considers the walls and towers. There are also traces of ancient roads and aqueducts.
