Now, this is pyruvate kinase.  It stops when there's enough citrate or ATP, but if I have a ton of fructose-1,6 bisphosphate or phosphoenolpyruvate, I have to force the reaction to completion.  If I really have enough, the when the Acetyl CoA (from broken down pyruvate) goes into TCA and when it gets to citrate, it'll just be made into fat.
