We started the store front gallery for anyone who had used a camera to deal with 9/11. We were given thousands of pictures, which we hung on clothes lines and sold digital prints of, donating the money to the Childrens Aid Society. There are many images that stick in my mind. The planes, individual faces, the ash, the ruins, and then the bodies falling from the tower (David Surowiecki's photograph)—the horror of those realities, conveyed in picture after picture, is profound and moves me…

this photograph intrigues me so much! why isn’t this the most famous photo from 9/11 instead of the falling man? isn’t 2 people holding hands after jumping more significant than 1 man? it makes me wonder what the story is behind this photo, were they friends or lovers? or just strangers who were too scared to jump alone? it shows that people need a helping hand even in their final moments

*9/11~I SAW A LOT OF PEOPLE JUMPING: I couldn't take pictures of that. I couldn't believe my eyes, that people had the strength, to die this way.To me it was the most powerful moment because a year before this I went on top of the WorldTradeCenter for the first time, I remember what I felt looking down, how high + scary it was.Seeing these people, I was picturing them looking down. You can see two silhouetts of people jumping from the building. I didn't know until I saw it on my print.

Viewer discretion is strongly advised due to graphic contents. On the morning of September 11th 2001 almost 3,000 innocent people were murdered by Al Qaeda terrorists. As many as 200 people jumped!! Don't let the people who did this to us infiltrate our government - some already have!!!!
