Tattoo Body Suit
It’s hard to summarize this piece for Louis. He is one of the loveliest clients I’ve had the pleasure to work with over the years, and I am honored to have been the artist for this piece. This bodysuit started several years ago (you may have seen the stencil photo we posted a while back) and has been no small feat to finish. This piece holds a tremendous amount of mana and he wears it like a true warrior. I really like the texture and play of the line work I achieved in this one. It feels natural, loose, but technically well executed, creating a believable sense of abstraction and form. How do you guys feel about this small but delicate creation? I would enjoy doing more like this so get in touch! 🌿
Plant Press Back Tattoo
Another look at how plant presses can be worn. This tattoo was created over an enjoyable day both in nature and in the studio. My client and I went on a local bush track in the area, and we picked a selection of native plants. We then dipped them in ink, and pressed it onto the back like so. What you see here is my abstract representation of fit and form, with the added flair of working with the random nature of plant press on skin. I was doing quite a lot of these about a year ago and always enjoy being able to merge the representation of nature and skin. Always keen to do more of these! ✌🏻🌿
