One of the lessons of learned since discovering I have cancer is that through life you accept things to be true that aren’t, and deny things that are true… Mostly about ourselves or the way things are. Although its true that perception is reality… it is also true that if your reality is built upon a perception that is distorted, your reality is equally distorted.
"Cogito ergo sum" which means; "I think, therefore I am" is a philosophical proposition by the French philosopher, Rene Descartes. The meaning of which is that, thinking about one's existence proves in-and-of itself that an "I" (that would be you) exists to do the thinking.
It's a shame that the politically correct don't recognise the role of failure in propelling one to success. The removal of failure from our experiences doesn't raise the under achiever up... it simply lowers the expectations and weakens the mind of everyone.
I see you means I see all of you, the physical, emotional and spiritual you. I see all that is good about you, I see your faults, flaws and imperfections. I see your hopes, dreams and aspirations, all that you are, have been and will be.
Judging others seems to come so easy to most of us. Somehow each of us is able to switch off the reality of our own flaws and condemn others with a blatancy as cold as ice. Even if that flaw is one shared wholly within ourselves. http://beenthinkn.wordpress.com/2014/01/25/sinner-inner-saint/
