OK - new house required a new option for tool storage. Bought a big garbage can with the roller, 50' of 1/4" rope, two 2' pieces of 1/2" threaded pipe and matching buts/washers and 50# of sand and started criss-crossing. Turned out exactly how I had envisioned it. Rolls easily, does not feel unstable in the least, can roll in and our of the garage and out of the way in the garage and the tools stand up nicely and are supported by the sand and the rope.
