These are British Girl Guides who were camping at the former Kingsdown Scout Camp outside of Dover, England in the summer of 2000. Notice that part of the tradition is to have a large central symbol that is sometimes hand stitched as you see with the leader on the left. All of these are the poncho style with the center cut out.

Girl guides camp blanket

made using spray adhesive to black foam board and foam weather stripping (sticky on both sides) to add height. Certificate in frame and it can all be disassembled later if wanted. The sash is folded around foam board without adhesive.
