IS The name of Jesus written in Glagolitsa or Glagolitic - the old Slavic script as it was abbreviated on church iconography - consisting of the letters I and S. Existing interpretations are that Cyril intentionally incorporated the meaning of the “word" in the name of Jesus and that the graphic representation is reminiscent of the ancient Christian symbol for the fish and has some deeper geometrical and cosmological meanings too.
AZ - I am the beginning and the end ... In the beginning there was the word …. These are my renditions of the first and the last letter of the Glagolitic alphabet. The first one is read Az meaning I. The last one could be thought of as a combination of the letters used to write Jesus in old Slavic-Bulgarian language. Also containing the Christian symbols circle and triangle commonly expressed as a “fish” symbol
This is a painting that expresses the geometry in life, the cosmos and the spirit. Geometry lays in all things on earth and in the universe and it is one of the languages of our world. http://elliegreat.biz/
