Just some of my own paintings. Every piece is special to me as each has a story.

"Uncle Peter". Peter Collins. At a cafe in Lyttelton after we had spread Patricia's ashes at Diamond Harbour. Aged 85, he's a hard case. Always joking. Always naughty. Lots of fun! C2015

"Mum". As we pulled in near the beach, there was Mum on the front lawn, waving. C1999

"Kereru". My first attempt at painting feathers. A big learning curve!

"Daisy". I cannot really take the credit for this piece. Whilst I painted it, I copied from a photo of one similar, done by an artist of superior talent to mine.

"Dad". Dad and I were our in the boat, waiting for a bite. No fish, but father and son time. So precious. C2005

"Mangopare". I found an old shovel in an antiques store in Reefton, on the West Coast and couldn't resist the purchase. I had had this design in mind for some years after being inspired by something similar. A bit of light relief after my first portrait of Dad in the boat.

"Patricia". My lovely mother in law. She was always up for a party or a joke. She holidayed with us to Australia, twice, and to Golden Bay a few times. She was a big part of my life for 27 years and we miss her very much. RIP. C2009
