Kosher food brand Manischewitz has been around for over 130 years, slinging traditional Jewish food like matzo, macaroons, egg noodles, gefilte fish, and cake mixes, and they've remained a mainstay of the kosher aisle that sits alongside the likes of Streits and Yehuda. But, according to them, that’s a big problem for the brand, and they wanted to appeal to a new generation of folks and break free of the kosher aisle.
