A pair of Scandinavian style dining chairs

The oddthing.co.uk discovered these chairs at a second-hand furniture sale. giving them a new lease of life with a striking colour-pop design. Yellow paint on the base of the seat, leg, spindle and reverse of the seat back provides a zingy contrast against the dark blue. We used three coats of Valspar Indian Ink blue/black paint and Stratford on Avon yellow paint. Two coats of Rustoleum furniture wax give the chairs a lovely and protective sheen.
