I am mesmerized by the color and pattern.
Small chawan by Aoki Mokubei (1767-1833). Made for enjoying tea ceremonies while traveling. Mokubei was a student of Okuda Eisen and was known primarily as a sencha potter. He was known as a great master of Kyoto pottery (Kyo-yaki)
