NEVER do a candy buffet in full sun, especially with chocolate items. Even just doing one outside is tricky, you always need to do it with some sort of shade. Candy is very sensitive to even slight upticks in temperature, gummy items will begin to melt together even in the low 80s.
Besides this being totally FAKE, FYI: jars are HEAVY and candy is very very HEAVY, you should try hauling a buffet for 200 to a remote site... actually i make my husband do it for me ;-). WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY is that you need stable surfaces. A rickety, wicker table will collapse (and I was at an event where the candy table collapsed, not mine... and that was a disaster of rolling shimmering candy everywhere and scattered shards of glass).
