Man O'War Bay on Waiheke Island, New Zealand. Captain Cook first came across the area in 1769 when he anchored in the bay during his first voyage around the islands of New Zealand. It is now the home of the Man O'War winery.
Whangarei Town is a really interesting place for a walk. Start off at the marina right in city centre and explore the old buildings along the waterfront. Finish up your walk by enjoy a few drinks looking at all the boats while the sun sets.
The Whakanewha Regional Park on Waiheke Island in New Zealand is a great place to go for a walk and soak up some history, as well as enjoy the native bush, the beach and the views of the Hauraki Gulf. Plus you might even see some zombie wallabies!
