Rumpus Room
Large R that takes up the entire left page serves as a point of entry. I like that the type overlaps slightly with the corresponding photo to indicate that they go together. But I think this wouldn't be necessary at all if the photos and the type were placed more thoughtfully on the page. I appreciate that the designer experimented breaking out of the grid structure, but I think this intention could be further developed.
