PRINTABLE THANKSGIVING CORNUCOPIA CRAFT
Our Printable Cornucopia Craft can be printed in color for a quick cut and paste activity or in black and white to be colored by the children. Set up a separate area for the kids to work on this craft while you are putting final touches on the Thanksgiving feast. Your cornucopia will make a wonderful bulletin board or refrigerator decoration. Great project for classroom or individual.
FLOAM OCTOPUS SCULPTURE AND RECIPE
What fun to sculpt things like this Floam Octopus! Floam can be made thick, which is the best for sculpting, or thinner to play with as slime. It all depends on how you make and store it. It is important to remember that this floam is not meant for toddlers and pre-K children who are inclined to put everything in their mouth but certainly can be a lot of fun for the rest.
PATRIOTIC SEASHELL CRAFT
This Patriotic Seashell craft was provided by Joanne Scott a nurse from Culpepper, Virginia who loves to hunt for seashells rain or shine. What a great way to celebrate summer and our patriotic holidays…searching the seashore for the perfect shells for your patriotic display. Whether you are adding to your collection or creating a gift for a family member or friend, these seashells will have a favorite spot all year round.
FLEECE TISSUE HOLDER CRAFT
This Fleece Tissue Holder is a pretty gift to make for a group project for a nursing home that is useful and a great project to teach simple sewing procedures. The end result will put a smile on the face of the crafter and the recipient. This is a perfect project for one person or a group to make and contribute.
AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINAL MASK CRAFT
January 26th is Australia Day! Kids learn about Australia as they make their own Australian Aboriginal mask. Aboriginal artists used dots of color in their paintings. Experiment with this style by using natural colors to decorate printable masks. This would be a fun exercise for Girl Scouts Thinking Day. There is a Didgeridoo on the Australian Crafts page to go with your mask.
