Designed by Estudio Nómada, the Canteen at the City of Culture of Galicia fuses a retail space, cafe and bar. The designers incorporated the trees to fill otherwise inanimate space while allowing the canteen to remain light and airy.

The legs of the dining tables in the canteen area extend upwards to form stylised trees, which have an aluminium frame beneath the oak exterior and can incorporate additional lighting.

This one's a bit different than the usual wooden cabin.  Partly it's the way the photo was done - special lenses or several photos tacked together.  Partly it's the color and patterning of the wood.  That indoor tree is a nice touch.
