There is a sense of order in the use of colours and the detail of the subject's face. However there is also a sense of disorder from the fact that the subject is armless and the bottom half of her face as been dragged down. As well as that, the viewer can feel her pain and perhaps disappointment that is being conveyed through her eyes. Could this be representing a lack of freedom? Could it be exploring the ideas of some kind of abuse she's going through?
