Repurpose a men's button down shirt into simple toddler shift. (1) Trace existing dress as pattern adding margin for seam. (2) Cut out pattern (3) Sew together for simple dress Notes: the buttons make up dress back & this shirt had nice yoke & finished pleat that (used inside-out) made slick finished box pleat for dress front.
