We were transitioning from 3D to 2D (maths) so we created houses using 1cm cubed paper which also led into perimeter/ area...do not like murals that can't be upcycled!

A 3D/google inspired community map. We were going on a community walk so we created our own google map on our wall, adding our 3D houses and evidence of water usage...leading into our water conservation unit.

I use the site below to do this activity. It's an awesome way to start an ANZAC lesson. Final display is always in the shape of a capital A. This particular display had an A and a cross as students requested it.  https://anzacday.org.au/a-is-for-anzacs
