Brush Storage If you want your makeup brushes to stand up straight, fill the bottom of a small vase, tumbler or jar with glitter, sand, marbles or coffee beans. You can also whack on a few labels on the front of the glass vessel to differentiate between the different types of tools. Because your tools accumulate powder and gunk, it's best to store them with the bristles up.
