Biltmore's history of orchids is a storied one. Today, our orchid collection numbers at close to 1,000 plants, fulfilling Frederick Law Olmsted's original vision of 800 orchids, comprising more than 30 varieties, to furnish the Conservatory’s “orchid house.”
