Remarkables Primary School

This school is located adjacent to Lake Wakatipu in Frankton and is a new construction close to the Remarkables mountain range. We designed the grounds to provide spaces for learning and for play for the school children leading down to the lake. There are areas of native planting to provide a contrast to the large central sport courts and a stepped amphitheatre large enough to hold all the pupils on special occasions. BDG won the "NZILA Award of Excellence" for this landscaping design.
