Here I’m using The Raffia Connection’s Ochre coloured raffia to make a wall hanging. I’m using the figure-of-8 stitch which is also known as Navajo stitch. The core is natural raffia and I am keeping it very thick as I want a chunky look for this piece.

Crepe Paper Marigold Flowers
These gorgeous Crepe Paper Marigold Flowers are the first project in our Autumn Colors Craft Summit. I love the sunset tones of this pretty flower and its many ties to fall. In addition to being the birth flower for October, marigolds are often used in Dia de Muertos celebrations to guide souls back to their loved ones. Also, their rich gold and yellow tones make them perfect for fall decorating.

MAKING // Yesterday I was working on making sweetpeas so I decided to film a little section of it’s creation. The first flower to be made in my garden studio having moved back out there this week. It’s part of a new range which I’m working on in between orders that I’m hoping to share more from soon. Did you know that sweetpeas are April’s birth flower? #marchmeetthemaker #marchmeetthemaker2025 @marchmeetthemaker
