This project involved a two storey extension to the side and a single storey extension to the rear of an existing 1930′s house to create a family home suitable for today’s living standards. The single storey extension to the rear houses a new open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a large internal sliding door which closes off the living area. Light wells overhead provide natural light deep into the existing house plan. Sliding aluminium framed doors lead to the garden. www.dmvf.ie.
