George Nepia

George Nepia, (25 April 1905 – 27 June 1986, was a New Zealand Māori rugby union and rugby league player. As a 19-year-old fullback Nepia was one of the stars of the 1924–5 All Blacks, dubbed the ‘Invincibles’.

George Nēpia is considered to be one of New Zealand rugby’s finest players. He played all 32 matches for the famous ‘Invincibles’ on their tour of the British Isles, France and Canada.
