Shout homie @aussie_fitness for popcorn chicken inspo 🫶🏻 ✅ Macros for the WHOLE Meal: 569 Cals, 69g Carbs, 5g Fat, 62g Protein 🧂 KFC Secret Seasoning Blend: 8g Salt 5g Black Pepper 5g Paprika 5g Garlic Powder 3g Oregano 3g Basil 3g Thyme 3g Celery Salt 3g White Pepper 3g Mustard Powder 3g Ginger Powder ✳️ Rest of Ingredients for popcorn chicken (makes 3 batches): 24oz Chicken Tenderloins 60g Egg Whites 50g All Purpose Flour 5g Baking Powder ✳️ Ingredients for Fries: 300g Russet Potatoes Sea Salt Garlic Powder Avocado Oil Spray (added 2g fat to the macros for these sprays) 🍟 Why I went with the fries raw is because we are limited with how much oil we can use if we want them to stay low calorie. So since potatoes after cooking are super absorbent (soak up 25% of their weight in oil), it’s advantageous to add it after while also helping the seasoning to stick. ❇️ Directions: 1️⃣ Wash and dry russet potatoes, then cut into even fries using a crinkle cutter. 2️⃣ Air fry at 400°F for 25 minutes, shaking every 5-7 minutes. 3️⃣ Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, mix with 60g egg whites in a bowl. 4️⃣ In a shallow bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and KFC seasoning. 5️⃣ Coat chicken in flour mixture, using one hand to add and the other to coat. 6️⃣ When fries are done, toss with avocado oil, sea salt, and garlic powder. 7️⃣ Air fry chicken at 400°F for 9-10 minutes, ensuring pieces don’t touch.
