Routines: I really like this idea for establishing weekly classroom routines. Each student puts a popsicle stick with their name on it in the pouch for whichever job they want, and the teacher selects one at random to complete the job for the week. Using newspaper clips as the background for the "help wanted" theme helps make the routines seem more authentic, leading to engaged students and increased motivation in the classroom.
