Taisi Olaf F. Nelson was one of the leaders of O le Mau a Samoa, Samoa’s resistance against New Zealand rule in the early 1900s. He worked closely with Tupua Tamasese Lealofi III, before the massacre that would be known as Samoa's Black Saturday.
