These beautiful handmade greenstone (Pounamu) and Paua shell Kete (basket) Harakeke (flax) represent the virtue's of man known as "the 3 Kete knowledge".     The handles are made from Muka (flax fiber) by stripping the husk from the flax using a Paua shell leaves a beautiful white twine.   These Pounamu have been tumbled, polished each different in shape and size, hence the Pounamu looks stunning, different and unique Taonga (treassure).
