This is a super fun and cute way to learn fractions. The students will love working with fractions when they get to make this fraction guy. They can get creative and make their own creature, and then create their own fraction. This aligns with the Common Core standard 3.NF.3 Number and Operations- Fractions. Develop understanding of fractions as numbers.
