In the eclectic Manhattan living room that Jeffrey Bilhuber furnished for advertising executive Trey Laird, shapes and styles happily mingle. The comfortable rolled-arm sofa (its seat cushions are upholstered in a Brunschwig & Fils tiger-stripe velvet) joins Danish side chairs with firm button tufting, a low Victorian slipper chair, deep club chairs, a couple of ottomans (clad in a blue Muriel Brandolini fabric from Holland & Sherry), and a Louis XVI–style armchair.
