The thing about home alone dinners for one? I can eat whatever I like and whatever I like is often drenched in butter. Tonight's solo dining dish is pan fried crispy skin salmon (no word of a lie it was crispy!) & banana prawns "drizzled" with garlic & paprika butter. Sat on a bed of lightly dressed salad: ribbons of raw courgette & cucumber, baby toms & walnuts. Prawns were cooked with their heads on for end of meal sucking, munching, crunching enjoyment! #weekendeats #homecooking…

Decided to get NZ green beans for dinner since it won't be too long before it'll be out of season. Fried the beans with sambal udang (dried shrimp sambal). Also made some amazingly buttery sweet tasting prawns in a ginger & tomato gravy - kinda like sweet & sour, my style.   #chinesefood #homecooking #weekendeats
