I have a re-occurring dream where I'm swimming in the middle of the ocean with a humpback whale. Its pitch black at night and everywhere I look there are just stars - whether it be in the sky or in the waters reflection. One day I hope to know what it means.
Katrin Schacke - Konzeption & Gestaltung. This photograph is of see threw baubles hanging from the ceiling with one main central one that is half dripping with gold paint and looks like its still being poured onto it. The back ground is grey which allows the attention to be on the baubles. Deep depth of field. This looks like its been shot in the studio with two light boxes that are shown in the reflection of the glass.
I like this image due to it's obvious theme and simplicity. The use of natural light in the photograph brigs out some lovely reflections in the puddles, helping to create a more crystallised, smooth feel in the feet. The conversion into black and white helps to define the shape of the puddles and I just think it's a lovely photograph.
Citrus Series by Dennis Wotjkiewicz. Photorealistic fruit paintings Dennis Wojtkiewicz took his still-life paintings to another level when he decided to work with fruit. Attracted to the inside of pieces of everyday fruit—the seeds, veins, and the translucent flesh and color changes—Dennis renders them in large-scale using oil on canvas.
