ANZAC games for children It is the anniversary of our soldiers (along with those from New Zealand) landing at Gallipoli in 1915.-the first time our country had been represented in major conflict. We commemorate these soldiers and those who have served our wonderful country since.

This is a great idea to teach student about the mathematical concept of symmetry. By taking a picture of a student, the teacher will give the student only half of that picture. After the student receives the half of their picture, they are going to construct the other half of the picture.

Math meets Art: Symmetry Self-Portraits. Showing students how symmetrical they are! Have students cut out picture of themselves and then cut in half. Students are then able to draw the other half.

Mixed Media Self Portrait. These were awesome.  Little kids did the backgrounds, came up with words that described them and added it on top on canvas boards.
