Self made Miracle Grow. Put Epsom salts and sugar into each hole with your plant. It makes them grow larger, leafier and greener, use about 1 Tablespoon in a 1 to 1 ratio but I don’t really measure it. You can also dissolve 1 Tablespoon into a gallon of water and use it to water your plants, trees, fruit trees, roses, flowering plants, squash,... all veggies. If you have already planted I would sprinkle around the plant and water it well by J.H.

This is a space saver when growing beans. Above is a small space version of the bean tee pee. Your poles can be wood or bamboo. You want to use 5-6 poles that are at least 6 -7 feet tall. Make a tee pee out of them and tie them at the top. Then you will need to make notches with a knife where you will tie the string. If not the rope will slip down. DIY Tomato TrellisTo Build: 5 lengths of 6-foot bamboo. Crossing two pieces of bamboo, tie string about 5-inches down, creating a small “X” at one end. Once tied, splay the bamboo apart, making a large “X” – these will act as the foundation for the trellis. Do this twice and position the the bamboo legs about 5 feet apart in the bed. Position the remaining piece of 6-foot bamboo across the frame and voila! A super durable, strong trellis in which to trail over vining plants.
